For the many students who commute to campus by car, Transportation Services sells parking permits and provides parking lot maps. They also offer services for cyclists, including bicycle education programs and tours of bike paths on campus.

Located at 840 Second Street, Amtrak is a great option for travel to Oakland, Richmond, Downtown Sacramento and beyond.

Unitrans provides public transportation service to the entire city of Davis with 48 buses on 18 routes, carrying over 4 million passengers/year (over 22,000 on a typical day). Buses run every weekday from 7am-11pm, and the weekend from 9am-6pm. Anyone can ride Unitrans for $1.25 one-way fare, and many types of prepaid discounted tickets and passes are available. UCD Undergraduate students, who can show a valid undergrad ID in lieu of a cash fare, have unlimited access because they pay a portion of their quarterly ASUCD fee to Unitrans.
