How To Find Us

We are located within the Social Science & Humanities building. The following information and maps are useful when searching for the departments we serve. 

Please note that the entire building is under construction and has a significant impact on our departments. 

Construction Timeframe: Fall 2024 - Fall 2026

We are open during construction. The following maps will identify impacted areas. 

Department Location

  • Blue Cluster Administration
    • EHE Advising Center is located on the 2nd floor in SSH 2216
    • Business Staff is located on the 2nd floor. Please visit our Website for the office number.

Video Guides to EHE Advising Center & Andrews Room

Construction has changed how you access our offices. Watch a brief video for a step-by-step walkthrough of the most direct, accessible route to the EHE Advising Center and Andrews Room. The following route begins at the Social Science & Humanities (SSH) building entrance directly across the street from the Memorial Union ATMs.

Video: Accessibility Route (Elevator Access)

This video provides the most direct route for those who require elevator access. 

Written Directions: Accessible Route (via Elevator)

  1. Start: Begin at the Social Science & Humanities (SSH) entrance directly across from the Memorial Union ATMs.
  2. Transition: Go straight down the main outside corridor toward the elevator and stairs. Take the 2nd left turn.
  3. Elevator: Turn left at the staircase and use the elevator. Select the top button to go to the 2nd floor. Once inside, select "2."
  4. Exit: On the 2nd floor, exit the elevator and turn left toward the Agricultural and Resource Economics Department.
  5. Transition: After entering the ARE department, make an immediate right and follow the hallway to the exit at the end, then enter the next door on the left.
  6. Path: Follow this hallway to the next exit at the end. Once outside the exit door, continue straight, staying to the left toward the "History" logo.
  7. Arrival: Enter the next building. The EHE Advising Center (SSH 2216) is in the hallway on your right.
  8. Andrews Room: To find the Andrews Conference Room (SSH 2203), turn left and walk to the end of that same hallway.

This video provides the most direct route for those who are able to use the stairs. 

Written Directions: Standard Route (Includes Stairs)

  1. Start: Begin at the Social Science & Humanities (SSH) entrance directly across from the Memorial Union ATMs.
  2. Transition: Walk straight down the main outside corridor toward the elevator and stairs, then take the second left.
  3. Stairs (Down): Continue past the stairs leading to the upper floors. The stairs to the basement are at the end of this section on the left. Head down one flight to the basement.
  4. Basement Path: Walk straight to the very end of the basement floor toward the "College of Letters & Science" area. Follow the path alongside the temporary fence on your left. Note: An A-frame with visual maps is located near the end of the staircase for a quick check.
  5. Stairs (Up): At the end of the basement path, turn right and go up two flights of stairs to the 2nd floor.
  6. Arrival: Once on the 2nd floor, make an immediate right and head toward the "History" logo.
  7. EHE Advising: Enter through the exterior door; the EHE Advising Center (SSH 2216) is immediately to your right.
  8. Andrews Room: To find the Andrews Conference Room (SSH 2203), turn left and walk to the very end of that same hallway.
